GI Thread Bars

A GI Threaded Rod, also known as a stud, is a relatively long rod that is threaded on both ends. The thread may extend along the complete length of the rod. They are designed to be used in tension. Threaded rod in bar stock form is often called all thread. The threaded rod is a fastening bar or a rod threaded along its length. Thread direction is an important specification to consider. Choices include right hand, left hand, or both right hand and left hand. All thread rod commonly referred to as a fully threaded rod, red rod, continuously threaded rod, TFL rod, and abbreviated ATR is used for general purpose fastening for anything from an anchor bolt to a through bolt. A variety of grades and materials are available.
